This privacy policy will be finalized before Y001 launches. Below is our commitment to privacy.

Our Core Principle

Y001 cannot read your messages. This is not a promise—it is a technical impossibility built into our architecture.

What We Do NOT Collect

  • Your messages (end-to-end encrypted)
  • Your contacts (stored locally on your device)
  • Who you communicate with
  • When you communicate
  • How often you communicate
  • Your location or IP address

What We Temporarily Store

To deliver messages, our servers temporarily store:

  • Encrypted message blobs (which we cannot decrypt)
  • Recipient public keys (for routing only)

All encrypted messages are automatically deleted after 7 days or immediately upon delivery.

Your Data Stays on Your Device

All messages, contacts, and encryption keys are stored locally in encrypted SQLite databases on your device. You control when to delete this data.

Third-Party Services

Y001 uses Cloudflare Workers for serverless infrastructure. Cloudflare does not have access to decrypted message content.

Changes to This Policy

This policy will be finalized before public launch. Users on the waitlist will be notified of the final policy.
